For my first school placement I was placed in a Junior/Senior Kindergarten classroom at St. John the Evangelist Catholic School. I attend this placement every week on Thursdays from September to April. During this placement I have the opportunity to shadow and and learn from an amazing mentor teacher.

St. John the Evangelist is located in the Jane and Wilson area. Currently this school is housed in an older building while the construction of their new school finishes up. Even though they are in an older building with limited recourses and space the teachers still do an amazing job at providing the students with what they need and with a variety of experiences.
